Last Day of School

Today was our last day of school and what a wonderful year it has been. I will miss each and every one of you. Please come back and visit next year and be sure to tell me all about second grade. You have all worked very hard this year and should be very proud of yourselves. Remember to come back and check throughout the summer. I will continue to post about what I am doing. Summer 2010

Tomorrow will be the first official day of summer. There are many exciting adventures to on during the summer. We will be going on any with your family? My favorite activity to do during the summer is read a book. My favorite book is Harry Potter. I have read all the Harry Potter books. I also love to swim and ride my bike during the summer. First Grade

First grade can be a scary year. We get more homework in first grade. We have spelling test in first grade. We even get our own desks in first grade. Remember how scary the first day of first grade can be? Please post some of your favorite memories of first grade for all the new first graders next year. I will share these with my first graders on the first day of school to help them feel great about first grade.

Yearbooks

We got our yearbooks today and had our friends sign their names. Yearbooks are important because they help remind us of all the fun things we did during the school year. They also help us remember all our friends and teachers. I still look back on all my old yearbooks and think of all my favorite memories.

Today was field day. We started our day with a healty breakfast which consisted of fruit and oatmeal. Next we did some stretches and warmed our bodies up so we would not get injured while particiapatin in field day. We were able to play many fun races and games. We also made sure we drank lots of water. We ended our wonderful day with a tug of war and watermelon. My favorite activity was the tug of war. Please post and tell Miss Cassidy your favorite activity. Remember to write in complete sentences. Use capital letter and puncutation.
